Obituary

The Davis, Sherman, Glay and Redd families with a heavy heart would like to announce the home going of a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and wonderful friend 

Mr. Edward P. Davis, Sr. His transition from this earth to Gods glorious kingdom occurred on the evening on January 20, 2021 at 5:45pm at Rhode Island in Providence, RI.

Born to George Davis and Minnie Glay. 

He was a devoted custodian at the University of Rhode Island for over 25 years.

Mr. Edward P. Davis Sr. was survived by his children: Tikiesha Davis, Edward P. Davis, Jr. and Isaiah Davis. His grandson Quincy J. Davis.

Sisters: Predeceased his beloved sisters Rose Davis Allison and Martha Davis, is survived by Christine, Kebeh and Zoe.

Brothers: Predeceased his beloved brothers Stanford Davis, Silverster Glay and Reed Davis, is survived by his brothers Joe, Daniel, Vivion, Julius, George, William, Eramus and Elijah.

He also leaves behind many beautiful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Davis' smile and laughter will truly be missed. He will forever be in our hearts.

May he rest in the loving arms of the Lord.

Mr. Edward P. Davis, Sr. was a devoted member of Victory Church in Providence, RI.
