Obituary
Joseph M. Washington "Marty", born and raised in Pawtucket, RI passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2023. He was the son of Beverly Washington- Sostre and the late Joseph "wowie" Monteiro.
He is survived by his daughter LaShondra Washington-Harris of Danielson Connecticut and two grand children ZyOniah Everette and Za'kaii Everette .
Also survive by three brothers, Barrett Washington, Michael Washington and Anthony Washington. Two sisters, April Vasquez and Monique Fofana-McCarty.
He also leaves three sisters, Dr. Lamona Monteiro, Rayna Robinson and Nicole Soares . He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, nieces nephews and cousins.
Marty loved sports, going to the ocean, and had a love for nature. Marty loved his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor; He loved to make people laugh and was loved everywhere he went.
